Nestled in the charming harbour town of Porthmadog, The Ship Inn (Y Llong) is more than just a pub – it’s a living piece of local history. Established in 1824, our pub has been welcoming seafarers, locals, and travelers for over two centuries. Are reservations required?

We encourage reservations as we can get very busy. Please call our landline number 01766 512990 to book and reserve your table.

Are children allowed?

We are a family friendly environment and have a children’s menu available at all times

What are your opening hours?

We are open from 12 until 11pm Monday to Sunday.

Lunch is served from 12- 3.30pm Monday to Saturday.

Evening Meals are served from 5 - 8.30pm Monday to Saturday. Sunday Roasts are served from 12 - 6pm.

Do you offer takeaway?

We do not offer a takeaway service.

Are you dog friendly?

We allow dogs provided they are on a lead and suitably controlled.

What does the drinks options look like?

We have a wide selection of lagers, ciders, bitters and cask ales

Are large groups accommodated?

We accept large table bookings with a pre-order of food requirements including any intolerances and allergen information and your booking must be confirmed via email or over the phone with contact details of a lead name responsible for the booking
